College of Southern Nevada (CSN) is seeking a part-time Campus Recreation front desk assistant. This role supports students, staff, and visitors with receptionist duties, program registrations, and data entry at the North Las Vegas Campus.

You will help with tours, membership information, and promotional activities while maintaining equipment and assisting with events. The position requires strong customer service, reliability, and willingness to learn, with a pay rate of $14.00 per hour and up

Campus Recreation provides opportunities for students and employees to engage in fitness, wellness, recreation, and community-building activities. Through access to fitness facilities, equipment, structured programs, and events, Campus Recreation supports physical health, mental wellness, social connection, and overall student success. Campus Recreation programs provide students with opportunities to develop leadership, teamwork, time management, and communication skills while creating connections and fostering a sense of community. Regular participation in recreational activities can also support academic success by promoting focus, wellness, and personal development.

Position Description

When assigned to the Campus Recreation front desk, this position supports students, staff, and visitors by completing the following duties:

  • Provide receptionist and customer service support
  • Assist with program registration, record keeping, data entry, and filing
  • Conduct facility tours and explain membership requirements
  • Create membership cards and provide information regarding Athletics and Campus Recreation programs
  • Assist with marketing efforts and promotional activities

Eligibility Requirements
  • Show a financial aid eligible major (degree or certificate program) declared with the CSN Office of the Registrar.
  • Meet Financial Aid Satisfactory Progress after each semester/term to qualify for employment within the academic year.
  • Show degree compliant enrollment for each semester/term for which funding is desired.
  • Be enrolled in at least 6 credits and meet additional eligibility requirements of the Silver State Regents Service Program for summer semester/term employment.
  • * Students cannot work another part‑time position within NSHE at the same time they are employed as a CSN College Work Study student.
