Job summary

Vanguard invites motivated students to join its College to Corporate (C2C) Internship Program. As an intern, you will design, build, and enhance applications supporting internal systems and client-facing platforms while participating in the full software development lifecycle.

Work in an Agile/LEAN team, collaborating with engineers, product teams, and business partners. Demonstrate leadership, curiosity, and strong communication, with a 10-week paid summer schedule starting May/June 2027.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• Strong interest in application development (web, mobile, backend).
• Familiarity with Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• GPA 3.2 or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

This immersive internship combines real-world project work, mentorship, and structured development to help you grow your technical and professional skillset while building leadership skills through ownership of work, collaboration, and real-world impact. You'll build high-impact solutions that allow Vanguard to perform at its best and do what's right for investors through exciting assignments .

In this internship, you will:

• Design, build, and enhance applications that support Vanguard's internal systems and client-facing platforms

What it takes:

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (required)
• Strong interest in application development, including web, mobile, or backend systems
• Familiarity with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript)
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, and ability to learn in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated leadership skills and/or leadership aspirations
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher (preferred)
