Job summary

The Vanguard Group is offering a College to Corporate (C2C) Internship in Charlotte for a 10-week, paid summer program. As an intern in this space, you’ll gain hands-on experience building technology solutions across web, mobile, and backend systems, with mentorship and structured development.

You will work in an Agile/LEAN team, design and deliver applications, participate in the SDLC, and collaborate with engineers, product teams, and business partners.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in CS, CE, IT, or related field.
• Strong interest in application development (web, mobile, backend).
• Familiarity with one or more programming languages (Java, Python, JavaScript).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Curiosity, initiative, and ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Leadership skills and/or leadership aspirations.
• GPA 3.2+ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and enhance applications that support Vanguard’s internal systems and client-facing platforms.
• Participate in the software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, debugging, and deployment.
• Work with modern technologies and tools in an Agile/LEAN team environment.

In this internship, you will:

• Familiarity with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript)
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, and ability to learn in a fast‑paced environment
• Demonstrated leadership skills and/or leadership aspirations
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher (preferred)

• This is a full‑time, paid 10‑week summer internship
