Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space is offering a Summer 2027 Electrical Engineering (RF Systems) Intern position in Colorado. You will work with RF hardware lifecycle processes—from architecture and design to development and testing—gaining hands-on experience in spaceflight applications.

The selected candidate will collaborate with RF engineers to develop and manage RF components that meet customer requirements and will benefit from the company’s focus on mission success and rigorous engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in an Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or other engineering/technical degree program.
• Basic Knowledge of or completed courses in Radio Frequency (RF) Engineering.
• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Gain experience with the RF Systems hardware lifecycle from architecture/design to development/test/production.
• Collaborate with design engineers to develop and manage RF components meeting customer requirements.
• Familiar with RF modeling tools and RF payload systems/architectures.

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Summer 2027 Electrical Engineering (RF Systems) Intern. In this role, you will gain experience with the RF Systems hardware lifecycle (architecture/design/development/test/production) for Space Flight and will become familiar with RF payloads and/or components. As an integral part of the Lockheed Martin Space RF Talent Center organization, you will use standardized processes and tools and work with design engineers to develop and manage various types of RF components that meet Customer driven requirements. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of Radio Frequency (RF) design and/or test.

Basic Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in an Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or other engineering/technical degree program.
• Basic Knowledge of or completed courses in Radio Frequency (RF) Engineering.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $22.66 - $31.67

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
