Position Summary

Marksman Security is hiring Full and Part‑Time Security Officers for our College Station site. You must live in College Station to work at this site. Pay rate ranges from $15.00 to $18.00 per hour. Full and part‑time shifts are available, with weekend and holiday availability required.

Key Responsibilities

• Security Officers deter criminal activity, protect property, and enforce rules. They monitor surveillance cameras and alarms or patrol areas.
• Rover: Foot or vehicle patrols, detect suspicious behavior, prevent vandalism, thefts, or other criminal activity.
• Gatehouse: Greet residents and guests, check identification, log visitor vehicles, announce visitors, and control access.
• Front Desk: Acknowledge and greet all guests courteously, provide customer service, control access, monitor CCTV, announce visitors, and distribute packages.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours, walk and climb stairs, and lift up to 10 lbs.
• Valid state licensing, if applicable.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Familiarity with report writing.
• Monitoring and surveillance experience.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
• Prior security experience is not required but is a plus.
• Must have at least 1 year of security experience.
• Reliable transportation; able to commute on time.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Professional character and demeanor; team player.
