Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in the work field identified for course instruction, including a major study in Speech or 18 graduate hours in Speech.
  • Specialized experience equivalent to at least GS-09/GS-11 level, including syllabi development, lecturing, evaluation, accreditation collaboration, and culturally relevant materials.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, research, prepare and administer course syllabi and materials, labs and activities.
  • Deliver lectures and presentations to college students.
  • Evaluate students’ progress on standards-based Speech courses.
  • Collaborate with faculty to maintain accreditation requirements.
  • Develop culturally relevant instructional materials.
  • Serve on or chair committees addressing curriculum goals, objectives, standards, and policy.
