Job summary

Dallas College is seeking an athletic coach to assist with coaching duties, scouting, recruitment, and player development. The role involves duties across practices, games, conditioning, and off-season programs within the athletics department.

The position requires an associate degree or higher and coaching experience; transcripts may be requested. Some roles may require background checks and on-campus presence in accordance with policy.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher and two years of experience teaching/coaching.
• Knowledge of NJCAA policies.
• Official transcripts will be required.
• Bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with coaching duties including practices, games, scouting, recruiting, player development, conditioning, and the off-season program.
• Represent the college with external individuals and organizations within the college service area to advance the athletics program and community recreational offerings.
• Responsible for the maintenance of the athletic field, mowing, trimming, etc.
• Collect and maintain student-athlete data in order to provide accurate information for reports and/or information about the athletic programs.
• Completes required Dallas College professional development training hours per academic year.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
