Qualifications

• California teaching credential in the assigned subject area(s) and a valid English Learner Authorization are required.
• California Single Subject Credential in Physical Education (Clear or Preliminary) may be applicable.
• Equivalent Out-of-State Credential transferring to California with verifiable credential status.

Responsibilities

• Provide Excellent College-Preparatory Instruction to All Scholars.
• Develop and maintain a positive, achievement-oriented, supportive, and collaborative culture of high expectations.
• Effectively execute the assigned curriculum and supports to reach every scholar, including diverse backgrounds and language needs.
• Lead advisory classes to build relationships and support social-emotional growth.
• Use assessments to determine differentiated re-teaching to advance mastery.
• Collaborate with peers to ensure scholars receive appropriate support and accommodations.
• Uphold Alliance values and standards, aligning with the College-Ready Graduate Profile.
