The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in Brownsville, Texas is seeking a College Readiness Coordinator for Talent Search to guide participants toward academic preparedness and college success.

You will recruit eligible students, coordinate tutoring and enrichment activities, monitor progress with schools, and collaborate with counselors and postsecondary partners to expand opportunity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited university.
• Two years of experience in K-12 or Higher Education.
• Strong planning, organization, and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide guidance to program participants on college planning and post‑secondary readiness.
• Recruit, interview, and select eligible participants.
• Monitor student progress in collaboration with school personnel.
• Plan and evaluate enrichment activities and tutoring/mentoring services.
• Collect and maintain program data for reporting.
