Job summary

NSW Department of Education is seeking a College Principal (P5) for Dubbo College Senior Campus in Regional NSW. The role provides visionary leadership across multiple campuses, driving high standards, equity and strong community engagement to support student outcomes.

You will work within the College Management Group to allocate staff across campuses, ensuring effective governance and alignment with the NSW Plan for Public Education.

• Proven ability to create transformational opportunities in a culturally diverse environment with a wide range of complexity.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and provide opportunities to ensure equitable staff access to teaching opportunities, resources and professional development, across multiple sites in a complex 7–12 environment through an environment of transparency and integrity.
• Proven ability to build community confidence in Public Education and increase student enrolments with an emphasis on connection with community.
• Exceptional skills and capability in transforming the college pathways programs from Years 7 to 12 by leveraging innovation and curiosity in collaboration with our primary partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide visionary and strategic leadership across a multi-campus college.
• Allocate teaching and executive staff across campuses, considering preferences, skills, experience, and student needs.
• Foster a positive, inclusive and high-achieving learning environment with consistent educational standards.
• Collaborate with parents, stakeholders and the broader community to support student success and multi-campus improvement.
• Lead school improvement initiatives aligned with the NSW Plan for Public Education.
