Job summary

Gannon University seeks a coordinator to align on- and off-campus college prep activities for high school students. You will build partnerships with local high schools, participate in GO College programming, and coordinate services to students with academic potential.

You’ll work with internal and external stakeholders to develop and assess programs and to promote the University’s Mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred or in process.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with high school and/or college students.
• Knowledge of academic/motivational advising and college/career counseling.
• Strong presentation, communication, and confidentiality skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and handle records securely.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide academic support with dual enrollment scheduling/advising in high schools.
• Plan campus and career-focused field trips and summer programs.
• Provide information on financial aid and scholarships (FAFSA, PHEAA, local).
• Inform parents/guardians about college preparation.
• Coordinate monthly GO College workshops.
• Maintain contact with GO College director and school officials.
• Record and analyze student contacts, grades, and assessments.
• Utilize technology to support initiatives.
• Attend GO College staff meetings to coordinate programming.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
