Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with two to three years’ related experience.
• Experience advising or mentoring disadvantaged students preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic, career, personal, and financial advising to a caseload.
• Recruit and support TRIO participants through planning and exploration.
• Promote college access and readiness in schools and communities.
• Maintain confidential advising records and report progress.
• Coordinate campus visits, fairs, and TRIO-sponsored programming.
• Attend trainings on college admissions, financial aid, and careers.
