Job Description

The College Lab Technician provides support for the Fine Arts Department's studio classrooms and labs, ensuring safety, functionality, and maintenance. Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, scheduling repairs, maintaining safety standards, managing inventories, assisting faculty and students, and delivering program information.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma with at least four years of related experience, or an Associate/Bachelor's degree substituting for experience.

Other Qualifications

• Knowledge of art materials, tools, safety regulations preferred.
• Strong record-keeping, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Flexibility for occasional evening or weekend hours.
• Understanding of diverse student backgrounds and art-related materials.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary ranges from $47,509 to $69,517, commensurate with experience. Benefits include health plans, retirement options, tuition waivers, and paid time off.
