RK&K is seeking a College Intern to join our Construction Management and Construction Inspection Division in Fairfax, DC, or Baltimore. You will gain on-the-job training, mentorship, and exposure to materials, testing, contract management, and client interface in a consulting CM/CEI environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with inspection of roadway and bridge structures, materials tracking and testing, contract support, quantity calculations, and attending project control meetings.

Competenze

• Pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering & Management, Environmental Science or related area.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Valid driver's license.

RK&K is hiring a College Intern to join our Fairfax, D.C., or Baltimore Construction Management and Construction Inspection Division.

Our interns will receive on-the-job training, mentorship and insight into various aspects of the consulting Construction Management and Construction Inspection industry from materials, testing, construction contract management and client interface. Individuals will be exposed to various challenges, projects and technology related to their specific discipline.

As a paid intern in our CM/CEI Division you will:

• Provide construction management support, including assisting with inspection and monitoring of roadway and bridge structures to ensure compliance with contract documents and safety regulations
• Assisting with materials tracking and testing to ensure compliance as required
• Provide contract management support for Construction Projects
• Provide construction management support, including assisting with quantity calculations, as-built sketches, constructability reviews, attending project control meetings and other pre-operation meetings, and issue tracking

Required Qualifications:
