Job summary

Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects invites motivated students to join our internship program in construction administration. You will gain hands-on experience on real projects, working closely with seasoned professionals at our Colorado offices, including Denver, Loveland and Colorado Springs.

The role emphasizes learning by doing and building relationships in a collaborative environment. The internship offers exposure to project management, field supervision, and design support

Qualifications

• Currently registered as a junior or senior studying construction or related field at a local college or university.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on work applying classroom knowledge to real-world projects on-site and in the office.
• Be an active member of the construction administration team, supporting project managers and staff.
• Learn Wilson & Company culture and assist in evaluating firm career opportunities.
• Solve problems, assist with project teammates, and help realize clients’ visions on site.

Are you studying construction management, civil engineering, or survey and mapping, and would like to learn alongside an expert in the construction field? Roles and Responsibilities

• You will perform hands-on work to apply your classroom experience to real-world projects and help you envision your future career.
• You’ll be an active member of our construction administration team, working for our clients on projects with our most experienced construction personnel.
• You’ll be introduced to Wilson & Company’s culture, helping you evaluate our firm as a future career choice.
• You will solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate with partners to produce our clients’ visions for the future built environment.

Required Skills

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, primarily Outlook, Word and Excel required.
• Ability to commute to/from school to the office or project site. No remote work anticipated.
• Highly responsible and dependable. Capacity to manage and maintain a sustainable balance between school, internship, and personal demands.
• Work cooperatively with team members in addition to other Wilson & Company Divisions throughout our 3 Colorado offices (Loveland, Denver, Colorado Springs).
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Positive attitude
• Ability to work with a team under corresponding supervisor.
• Ability to work outside on an active construction site.

Required Experience

• Registered as a Junior or Senior studying construction or related field at a local college or university.

Hourly Rate: $23.00
