Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers and Architects is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to join our Omaha Office. This year-round paid opportunity is aimed at civil engineering students interested in highway, municipal roadway, and drainage engineering.

The intern will work closely with experienced engineers, applying classroom knowledge to real-world projects while gaining insights into the firm culture and evaluating future career options. The position offers earnings of $22.00 - $24.00 per hour and potential for full-time employment upon graduation.

Wilson & Company Is Looking For a Civil Engineering Intern Focused On Civil Engineering To Join Our Omaha Office. As An Intern In Our Office

• You will perform hands-on work to apply your classroom experience to real-world projects and help you envision your future career.
• You’ll be an active member of our team, working for our clients on projects with our most experienced engineers.
• You’ll be introduced to Wilson & Company’s culture, helping you evaluate our firm as a future career choice.
• You will solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate with partners to produce our clients’ visions for the future built environment.

Required Skills

• Civil engineering student with an interest in a civil‑works career, such as highway engineering, municipal roadway engineering, and drainage engineering. You will receive significant hands‑on and tutorial training on a number of these as an employee.
• Highly responsible and dependable.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong problem‑solving skills.
• Positive attitude and an impeccable work ethic.
• Ability to work with a team under the direct supervision of a Project Engineer.

Required Experience

• Current Civil engineering student.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, primarily Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Ability to commute to/from school to the office, and work in an office environment. No remote work anticipated.
• Capacity to manage and maintain a sustainable balance between school, internship, and personal demands.
