Conahan Media LLC is seeking writers to cover Penn State and Michigan football for one of the top sports websites in the world. Compensation for this freelance role is based on revenue share. Writers will be paid per 1,000 page views, with an opportunity to make as much as they’d like

What we want from you

Pitch and write stories about Penn State and Michigan football

Content will be focused on breaking news, injuries, trades, trade rumors, trade proposals, contract predictions, free agency predictions, and much more that comes with it

Work two weekends each month - If you’d like to work more than two weekends each month, that’s certainly fine

Hungry authors looking to take advantage of making as much as possible

The more you write, the more you can make

You can write as many articles in a day as you'd like if they’re well done and completed at the level we’re looking for

We need at least five articles per day

Write articles in the CMS without flaws, including links, best SEO practices, titles, and much more

Articles must be at least 250 words

What you will bring

1-2 years of journalism experience - college football needed

Basic understanding of SEO, AP Style, and more

Work quickly, but still bring the best you have with accuracy and company policies

Understand how to determine what news is - Cover topics that bring web traffic to the site
