Job summary

El Centro de Ayuda in Los Angeles seeks a FSC College Corner Lead Worker to oversee College Corner services for high school students, guiding post-secondary planning and increasing academic achievement.

Under the FSC Program Director, the Lead Worker supervises three College Corner Workers, coordinates programming, outreach, and enrollment, conducts initial screenings, and develops individualized service plans to help students meet their goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work or related human services field, or enrolled in post-secondary education.
• Minimum of 2 years’ related experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate College Corner services, activities and workshops.
• Oversee programming, outreach, recruitment and enrollment.
• Conduct pre-screening assessments and develop individual customer service plans.
• Coordinate tutoring, mentoring and academic support for MS/HS students.
• Document all services in the CIFD Sales Force Data Entry System.
