Job summary

Job description

We are a non-profit agency that provides services to individuals that are Deaf and Hard of Hearing. We are seeking a college coordinator / pogram support specialist to coordinate our client's education needs and assist with program and projects.

Duties
  • Coordinate and build relationships with agencies, businesses, and individuals as required to support our client's education needs
  • Communicate with staff and clients using American Sign Language
  • Facilitate outside resources as directed
  • Maintain records and documentation on all coordination activities
  • Support directors and other staff as needed
  • Assist with managing projects as assigned by director
  • General reception and clerical duties as needed
Qualifications
  • Proficient in American Sign Language
  • Energetic individual who is a self-starter, proactive, and goal-oriented
  • Ability to handle multiple activities under a continuous deadline
  • Associate's degree preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Excellent communication skills for communicating on the phone and working with the public
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Strong professional writing and grammar skills
  • Support experience in a non-profit, professional services, sales or marketing environment
