Job summary

10,000 Degrees seeks a College & Career Fellow to provide direct guidance to scholars and families, assist with financial aid applications, and support college readiness. Fellows will host success workshops and represent the organization at fundraising events. This is a 3-year commitment with broad professional development opportunities.

The role is a hybrid position with on-site and remote elements, requiring regional travel and occasional evening/weekend activities to support program delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience in a client- or student-service role.
• Geographic proximity to service regions and ability to travel.
• Bilingual Spanish/English a plus.

Responsibilities

• Advise students and families on college and career planning, including financial aid guidance.
• Deliver curriculum and training to students and families in 10,000 Degrees programs.
• Directly manage an assigned caseload or targeted group of students.
• Be present on-campus for student outreach and engagement up to four times per week.
• Build relationships with school personnel, community partners, and families.
