Job summary

KIPP St. Louis is seeking a College & Career Readiness Teacher for the High School team. You will develop and deliver curricula helping seniors identify and apply to post-secondary programs, including ACT prep sessions.

You will collaborate with teachers, KIPP Forward staff, families, and community partners to ensure students matriculate to college, career paths, and beyond, through high-quality, standards-aligned instruction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education required.
• Minimum of 2+ years of successful classroom teaching experience.
• Valid Missouri Teacher Certification required.
• Demonstrated commitment to improving outcomes for historically underserved students.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver instruction meeting grade-level standards daily.
• Internalize curriculum to align to standards and pacing.
• Design tasks requiring analysis, justification, and application.
• Provide scaffolds to maintain rigor and ensure access for all students.
• Use data-driven checks to inform instruction and address misconceptions.
