Job summary

WSU Tri-Cities GEAR UP is seeking a Student Achievement Specialist at Moses Lake High School with a work location in Moses Lake, WA. The role includes tutoring, advising and mentoring students, assessing needs and creating individual action plans.

You will provide student and academic support to increase college and career readiness, guide exploration of college/career options, and assist in planning and supervising field trips to college campuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and two years of professional work experience in student services or related education/experience.
• Master's degree may substitute for one year of professional work experience.
• Year-for-year substitution allowed for education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Tutor and advise students to support college and career readiness.
• Mentor students and develop individual action plans based on assessed needs.
• Provide student and academic support services to increase college and career readiness.
