Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution of higher education.
• Three or more years of successful baseball coaching experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with student-athletes from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to comply with NCAA, conference, University, and Athletics Department rules.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a comprehensive pitcher development program.
• Provide individualized instruction and feedback to student-athletes.
• Develop position-specific game strategies and preparation plans.
• Manage athlete workload and practice schedules.
• Use performance tracking tools and video analysis.
• Travel to events and evaluate potential student-athlete talent.
• Complete all necessary Compliance and Institutional documentation.
• Recruit student-athletes who meet academic and athletic standards.
• Work with the NCAA Compliance Office on compliance issues.
• Manage an annual budget including fiscal planning.
• Promote the program to increase visibility and revenues.
