Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one admissions and financial aid advice to students or families.
• Organize group sessions encouraging students and families to consider, plan for and apply to colleges.
• Advise students at meetings, presentations, events and college fairs.
• Establish productive relationships with principals, counselors, and teachers in the assigned high school.
• Assist in the efforts of other Advise Texas Career Advisors within the service area.
• Maintain expertise in admissions and financial-aid planning.
