Job summary

Central College seeks a program coordinator to support UB I/UBII participants with academic guidance and college access services. The role entails direct student advising, curriculum delivery, and coordination of meetings, events, and field trips at assigned high schools in Iowa.

You will travel to Des Moines 1–2 days weekly during the academic year, promote tutoring, and help students enroll in rigorous coursework while maintaining accurate records and communications with parents and school

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate individual and group meetings, events, and field trips for students at assigned schools.
• Recruit and select UB program participants and develop college access curriculum.
• Travel 1–2 days a week to Des Moines Public Schools for advising during the academic year.
• Provide leadership and supervision during UB events and field trips to ensure student well-being.
