Job summary

Improve Your Tomorrow is seeking a dedicated College Access Mentor (AmeriCorps) to serve on a full-time term at a local high school campus in Stockton, CA. You will mentor students, facilitate workshops, and coordinate Jr. Mentor Fellowship activities under CMSC guidelines.

The role involves data entry in Salesforce, coordinating family engagement, and supporting college access programming. Candidates must meet AmeriCorps eligibility and commit to the CMSC schedule.

Qualifications

• Must have a commitment to IYT mission and values.
• Experience mentoring youth preferred; ability to engage middle/high school students.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; able to log and track service data.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 mentorship to students to increase support frequency.
• Support Jr. Mentor Fellowship and track engagement and milestones.
• Facilitate academic readiness workshops and study hall support.
• Coordinate family engagement events and College Tours.
• Log mentorship sessions and progress in Salesforce; communicate with parents.
