Job summary

Michigan College Access Network in Lansing, MI is seeking AmeriCorps members for AdviseMI and College Completion corps. You’ll provide one-on-one guidance to students, lead workshops, and build partnerships with schools and community partners to expand college access across Michigan.

No prior experience required; extensive training, regional meetings, and travel are provided. The roles involve 900 total service hours, with a $20,000 living stipend and health/dental coverage.

Qualifications

• Strong communication across diverse communities and the ability to build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one guidance to a cohort of students.
• Lead workshops, classroom presentations, and group events.
• Build relationships with school or campus staff and community partners.
• Track and report student progress and outcomes.
• Participate in trainings, meetings, and professional development.
• Represent your program at events and outreach opportunities.
