Job summary

Hoag is seeking an account representative to work with insurance companies, government payors, and patients to resolve payments and accounts. The shift runs 8:00 am to 4:30 pm in Costa Mesa, California.

Ideal candidates have hospital business or customer service experience and basic familiarity with insurance plans and coding guidelines. The role focuses on resolving outstanding payments and coordinating between payors and patients to ensure timely accounts resolution.

Qualifications

• One year of previous hospital business experience, or equivalent required or strong background in customer service.
• Basic experience with insurance plans, hospital reimbursement methodology, and/or ICD10 and CPT coding.

Responsibilities

• Serve as account representative for Hoag with insurance companies, government payors, and patients for resolution of payments and accounts resolution.
• Coordinate and communicate with payors and patients to expedite payment resolution and accounts receivable closure.
