Job summary

LUX Infusion in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Collections Specialist to manage reimbursements and payer follow-ups. You will follow up on insurance claims, monitor payer accounts, and work with payers to resolve denials and ensure timely payments.

This role supports patient access to infusion therapy, collaborates with billing, pharmacy, and operations, and offers a potential hybrid work model after six months. Pay is $26–$28 per hour, USD, with on-site start.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on submitted insurance claims to ensure timely payment.
• Monitor and manage assigned payer accounts to minimize delinquent balances.
• Investigate denials, underpayments, and unpaid balances and determine resolutions.
• Collaborate with payers to correct issues and secure reimbursement.
• Maintain knowledge of payer contracts, reimbursement methodologies, and guidelines.
• Support billing, pharmacy, and operations teams to resolve claim issues.
