Job summary

HighGround is seeking an Collections & Account Support Specialist in Addison, TX. The role focuses on managing a portfolio of customer accounts to ensure timely payments while delivering outstanding service across multiple restoration brands.

As part of the Accounts Receivable COE, you will handle inquiries, document activity, and negotiate payment arrangements, supporting healthy cash flow and strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in collections, accounts receivable, customer service, or a related field.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong negotiation skills related to payment commitments and arrangements.
• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills with multi-priority tasks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting/CRM software.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned portfolio of customer accounts across multiple brands, ensuring timely follow-up and payment of invoices.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming Accounts Receivable calls and emails, answering questions and resolving routine inquiries.
• Maintain a daily collection cadence by contacting customers via phone, email, and other methods and documenting all activity.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience by building trust and maintaining professional communication.
• Investigate routine payment delays and collaborate with customers and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Negotiate payment commitments and arrangements that balance customer needs with company objectives.
• Document customer communications, payment commitments, disputes, and collection activity.
• Escalate complex cases to Accounts Receivable Specialist for insurance or legal issues while maintaining ownership of follow-up.
• Monitor assigned accounts, prioritize workload, and contribute to cash flow and departmental goals.
• Support standardized processes and continuous improvement within the COE.
