Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor and clear check and automatic debit bounces.
• Notify loan officers and management of actions taken by collections specialist.
• Be proficient in the Company’s accounting software system.
• Answer all customers’ billing inquiries.
• Make ACH date and bank changes as required.
• Create check spreadsheet for all incoming checks received by Customer Service.
• Maintain the Eastern Funding used equipment list.
• Maintain repossession & returns list for all Specialty Vehicles.
• Assist on repossession of equipment requiring site visits.
• Suggest improvements to loan workout strategies.
• Assist in-house attorney with default letters and other legal matters.
• Understand and participate in BSA/AML compliance training.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Pay Range: $20.00 - $28.90

Location: New York City, NY - 213 West 35th St

Purpose/Objective

The position is responsible for assisting with all Eastern Funding delinquent customer accounts.

Key Accountabilities

• Monitor and clear check and automatic debit bounces.
• Notify loan officers and management team of action steps taken by collections specialist.
• Be proficient in the Company’s accounting software system.
• Answer all customers billing related inquires.
• Make ACH date and bank changes as required.
• Create check spreadsheet for all incoming checks received by Customer Service.
• Maintain the Eastern Funding used equipment list.
• Maintain the repossession & returns list for all Specialty Vehicles.
• Assist on repossession of equipment which requires visitation to the location for physical removal of assets.
• Make suggestions to management with respect to loan workout.
• Assist in house attorney in preparing default letter and in other legal matters.
• Know and understand the company’s BSA/AML compliance policies and participate in the company’s ongoing compliance training.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education
