Job summary

Arbon Equipment, a Rite-Hite Company, Milwaukee, WI, is seeking a Collections Specialist to manage end-user billing and collections for assigned accounts. You will review sales records, resolve billing issues, and maintain a clean accounts receivable aging while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires an Associate degree (preferred) and 3+ years of billing/collection experience, with strong Excel skills and familiarity with JD Edwards ERP.

Responsibilities

• Review End User Non-Portal sales records for proper billing and timely collection.
• Build strong relationships with customers and provide responsive service to resolve issues.
• Research and resolve billing issues by verifying job status, files, cash application, and contracts.
• Communicate with team to escalate potential billing delays and resolve issues quickly.
• Collect outstanding invoices and maintain an accurate accounts receivable aging.
• Identify and address past-due accounts and coordinate with departments to enable payment.

When you join Arbon Equipment, you’re not just selling or servicing equipment – you’re building trusted partnerships with customers and growing your career with a company backed by the strength of Rite-Hite’s global innovation.**PURPOSE AND SCOPE** The End User Billing and Collection Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring that all balances due for End User equipment work is billed and collected in a timely manner for an allocation of customer accounts. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily: * Review an allocation of End User Non-Portal sales records for proper billing instructions, special conditions, and ensure each sale is billed and collected in a timely and accurate manner.* Build strong positive relationships with external customers by providing a level of customer service that instills confidence that issues will be resolved in a timely fashion and in a manner that meets or exceeds expectations.* Research and resolve any customer billing issues and/or questions in a manner that meets or exceeds their expectations. This includes, but is not limited to, accessing internal systems confirming job status, reviewing job files and contractual obligations, reviewing cash application, and reconciling jobs.* Communicate effectively with other members of the team to ensure that potential billing issues or payment delays are properly escalated and resolved.* Research and resolve all billing related questions that arise.* Manage the collection of outstanding invoices so that payment is received promptly and foster an environment where customers have an excellent end-to-end billing experience.* Maintaining a clean and up-to-date Accounts Receivable aging is essential to fulfilling this job mandate. The candidate must be able to promptly and proactively identify customer billing issues, prioritize and resolve the issues, and ensure the accurate application of customer payments to corresponding invoices.* Make collections calls on past due accounts to include communicating to departments that can resolve customer issues resulting in payment of past due amounts.* Assist Rite-Hite and the Operations Department in any reasonable capacity required **EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE** * Associate’s degree in a related field preferred* Three or more years of billing and/or collecting experience **KNOWLEDGE / SKILL REQUIREMENTS:** The ideal candidate will demonstrate: * Strong Excel skills, ability to work with a variety of software products* JD Edwards ERP system experience a PLUS* Excellent organizational skills and great attention to detail* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work accordingly* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal* Strong team-player with a can do attitude **SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:** This role has no supervisory responsibilities.**What We Offer**At Arbon Equipment – A Rite-Hite Company, we take care of our people – because when you’re supported, you can do your best work.
