Job Description: Collections Representative

Please note: You may be asked to attend onsite training in the Cincinnati-West Chester area for multiple days. Additional details will be provided upon successful completion of the hiring process.

This is a work-from-home position; however, you MUST reside within a commutable distance of Cincinnati-West Chester, OH to be considered.

Responsibilities of a Collections Representative

• Handle outbound and inbound calls
• Set up payment arrangements
• Counsel cardholders on their financial situations
• Use customer service, communication, and influencing skills to resolve late payments
• Bring past-due accounts up to date
• Enhance service quality through excellent customer service skills

Qualifications

• Effective listening, communication, and customer service skills
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
• Proficient in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to work from a quiet, distraction-free environment with high-speed internet
• Must reside within a 2.5-hour commute of Cincinnati, OH
• At least 18 years old
• Willing to undergo drug testing, background checks, and fingerprinting
• Customer service experience of 6+ months or military equivalent; previous collections experience preferred

Additional Requirements

• Satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship)
• Internal employees must meet tenure and performance criteria to post for other roles
