Compost Crew A Benefit Corporation in Upper Marlboro, MD is hiring a Collections Helper to join our growing organics recycling team. You’ll start early with shifts from 4 am to 6 am, finishing around noon, with overtime opportunities and a stable full-time schedule Mon–Fri.

You’ll work in a safety-conscious, customer-focused environment and help divert food waste from landfills. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life/ADD, a 401(k), paid time off and holidays,

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to start between 4am–6am and finish by 12pm–4pm.
• Ability to commute to Upper Marlboro, MD (7800 Penn Western Ct).
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds repeatedly and get in/out of vehicle frequently.
• Comply with safety standards and procedures.
• Proficient in using maps and GPS navigation.
• Strong attention to detail in record-keeping and cleaning.

• At least 18 years old

• Ability to reliably meet position’s schedule requirements of 4 am to 6 am start time, with day ending 12 pm - 4 pm

• Ability to commute to 7800 Penn Western Ct, Upper Marlboro, MD – public transportation and rideshare services are not available

• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds up to 200 times per day & get in/out of vehicle up to 400 times per day

• Diligent adherence to safety standards/practices

• Ability to use navigation tools, including maps and GPS systems

• Attention to detail/accuracy in meeting quality standards in areas such as record-keeping and cleaning

• Collaboration/team skills

• Customer service skills, including coordination, communication and problem-solving

• United States employment authorization
