Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New York seeks a Margin and Collateral Analyst within Credit Operations to deepen understanding of the credit business and collateral functions, overseeing daily collateral activity and supporting secured/unsecured exposure management across client accounts.

You will collaborate with Credit Operations leadership, Risk, Capital Advisory, Bankers, Client Service, Centralized Lending, underwriting, technology, compliance and legal teams to monitor collateral, respond to

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Strong project management skills with process reengineering experience.
High level of proficiency in organizing, prioritizing, and managing issues.
Strong independent judgment and awareness of escalation.
Attention to detail, strong analytic skills.
Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
Strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

Set-up agreement terms regarding collateral in credit systems for ongoing monitoring.
Monitor collateral daily and identify non-compliant scenarios; coordinate with Credit and Bankers for resolution.
Manage intraday collateral transactions and approvals when terms are met.
Amend original terms for lending value and covenants and reflect changes in systems.
Handle third-party pledge scenarios and update external asset valuations.
Participate in credit system defect identification, UAT, and requirements discussions.
Lead initiatives to close control gaps and improve processes.
