Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Collaborative Registered Nurse, Oncology, to join the Evanston Hospital/Evanston Kellogg Cancer Center team in Evanston, IL. This full-time role offers 40 hours per week with shifts Monday–Friday, 4–10 hour days, and no weekends or holidays.

You will provide safe, compassionate care, use the nursing process, and guide unlicensed staff while collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and a high-quality patient experience.

Qualifications

• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure is required.
• Associate's in Nursing is required; Bachelor's in Nursing strongly preferred.
• CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association is required; OCN/ONS preferred.
• Minimum 1 year Oncology Outpatient Infusion Center experience required; ED/ICU/PACU experience is highly preferred if no oncology experience.

Responsibilities

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for oncology patients on a specific unit.
• Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate the patient care plan.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary care.
• Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Contribute to safety and high quality patient experience.

Hourly Pay Range:

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care
• Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience

What you will need:

• Licensure: Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure, required.
• Education: Associate's in Nursing, required. Bachelor's in Nursing, strongly preferred
• Certification: Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association, required. OCN/ONS provider card preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Oncology Outpatient Infusion Center experience required; If no oncology experience, ED, ICU, PACU experience highly preferred.
