Job summary

Kimberly-Clark is seeking a Supply Chain professional to manage retailer relationships, coordinate with sales and demand planning, and optimize end-to-end inventory and logistics. You will analyze promotions, forecast impacts, and drive proactive collaboration with multiple teams to meet service and stock objectives.

The role emphasizes independence, strong numerical and interpersonal abilities, and a proactive approach to solving problems in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the customer relationship with retailers and align on day-to-day and strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Demand Management to forecast impact of promotions and base run rate changes.
  • Validate and challenge future SKU level volume and production assumptions.
  • Proactively optimize end-to-end supply chain inventory and logistics planning.
  • Develop and implement customer collaboration best practices (KPI tracking, collaborative planning).

About You

In one of our Supply Chain roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center.

You will work closely with Customer Management, Demand Management, European Supply Chain Services and Logistics, along with the supply teams in the top UK Grocers to ensure business requirements are fulfilled, issues resolved and potential problems are anticipated with corrective action taken.

  • Manage the Customer Relationship and work collaboratively with the retailer to understand and deliver customer requirements on both day to day and strategic objectives
  • Work collaboratively with Sales, Marketing and Demand Management to evaluate impact of promotions and base run rate changes on the demand forecast in order to maximise sales, customer service and minimise stock holding to ensure aims and objectives are on track and executed to required standards and timelines
  • Validate, challenge, and provide assumptions on future SKU level volume and production
  • Active management and communication to optimize end-to-end supply chain inventory and logistics planning
  • Pro-active development and implementation of customer collaboration best practices e.g. KPI Service Tracking and Collaborative Planning meetings
To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
  • You will be a high performer, preferably with Supply Chain experience with a positive “can do” attitude and passionate about what you do. You will have a proven track record of success and delivering business results in current / previous roles.
  • This role requires a self-driven and highly motivated person, with excellent collaboration skills to allow you to successfully manage these important customer relationships. High levels of drive to succeed and make things happen and comfortable working independently at a customer’s site when required.
  • You will need to be highly organized with strong interpersonal skills as well as excellent numerical and analytical skills and are able to work effectively across functions.
