Job summary

Devoted Health is seeking a part-time physician supervisor licensed in Mississippi to oversee APRNs and ensure compliant, evidence-based clinical care.

The role requires residency in Mississippi, willingness to travel for quarterly meetings, and collaboration with Devoted Medical to support board submissions and ongoing supervision activities.

Qualifications

• Active Mississippi state Medical License required.
• Active primary care/internal medicine/hospitalist practice experience.
• Must reside in Mississippi.
• Willingness to travel for quarterly meetings.
• Comfort with learning and adapting to new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) to meet Mississippi supervision requirements.
• Attend monthly meetings and quarterly in-person meetings; coordination by Devoted Medical.
• Ensure clinical care aligns with evidence-based guidelines.
• Support Mississippi Board of Medicine requests for collaborative relationships.
• Maintain active Mississippi medical license and practice in Mississippi.

_ Required Skills and Experience: _

• Active and unencumbered Mississippi state Medical License

• Active primary care, internal medicine, or hospitalist practice

• Physically resides and practices in Mississippi

• Potential travel for quarterly meetings

• Comfort with learning and adapting to new technologies

_ Preferred: _

• Willingness to obtain other state licenses in order to hold additional collaborations

_ Your Responsibilities will include: _

• Primary responsibility includes supervision of Advanced Practice Registered Nurses(APRNs) to satisfy the state of Mississippi supervision requirements for collaborating physicians - mid level providers(s)

• Monthly Meetings are required, quarterly in-person meetings with NPs; Devoted Medical will schedule all meetings as well as provide charts for review on a monthly basis

• Ensures clinical care and supervision delivered is consistent with evidence-based guidelines

• Willingness to attend Mississippi Board of Medicine (the "Board") meeting or submit request to the Board in support of proposed collaborative relationships with Mississippi-licensed APRNs

• Maintain an active and valid Mississippi medical license and maintain active practice (primary care, internal medicine, hospitalist) in Mississippi
