Job summary

PDI (Perishable Distributors of Iowa, LTD.) is seeking full-time Warehouse Generalists for 2nd & 3rd shifts to manage product life cycle from receiving to shipping in refrigerated and dry environments.

You'll operate a stand-up rider pallet jack and forklift, use RF units and voice-activated headsets, and ensure accurate staging and loading while maintaining safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Industrial forklift and pallet jack license required.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• General knowledge of standard warehousing procedures and RF loading, receiving, stock rotation and replenishment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and store products; ensure correct stock rotation by expiration date.
• Operate stand-up rider pallet jack and forklift; build pallets and stretch wrap for shipment.
• Load staged product into trailers and assist dispatch with load splitting and pallet combinations.
• Maintain safety, sanitation, and housekeeping; follow company policies and attend to equipment and alarms.
