Job summary

PDI, a Hy-Vee subsidiary, is hiring full-time Warehouse Generalists for 2nd and 3rd shifts in Ankeny, IA. You will handle receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and loading operations in refrigerated, freezer, and dry environments.

You must be able to lift heavy loads, operate a stand-up pallet jack and forklift, and follow safety and sanitation guidelines while maintaining accurate records and timely shipments.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift and pallet jack license required.
• Must read and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and verify incoming loads with supplier invoices.
• Select and prepare products for shipment using stand-up rider pallet jack and VAU headset.
• Build pallets, stretch wrap, and stage products on loading dock.
• Operate forklift and RF unit for stock rotation by expiration dates.
• Monitor temperatures for incoming product and report issues.
• Adhere to sanitation, safety rules, and attendance guidelines.
