Job summary

Performance Foodservice, a broadline distributor, is seeking a Warehouse Worker to support shipping and receiving in a fast-paced distribution environment. Monday–Friday with a 4 AM start, offering competitive pay and day-one benefits including health, 401K, education assistance, PTO, and growth opportunities.

As a Warehouse Worker, you will maintain inventory accuracy, operate forklifts, and ensure safety and quality standards while contributing to efficient product flow through the warehouse.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift 10-35 pounds and up to 60-90 pounds depending on location.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Performs general warehouse duties including forklift put-away, let-downs, will-call selection, returns, sanitation, break down pallets, wrapping pallets, order selection, loading, and receiving.
• Performs general housekeeping duties and keeps warehouse area, loading dock and trailers clear and clean.
• Performs daily safety checks of the assigned forklift/pallet jack.
• Performs damage control checks on items received and reports issues.
• Secures equipment and completes paperwork; supports shipping/receiving functions.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
