Job summary

United States Cold Storage, Inc. in Lebanon, IN is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to support loading, unloading, and stocking products in a cold storage environment.

This position requires physical stamina, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to operate forklifts and pallet handling equipment while working with a team to ensure accurate orders and efficient storage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs occasionally and 50 lbs regularly.
• Work in a temperature range from +50°F to -30°F with moderate noise levels.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to facility operations through proper product handling, organization, and sanitation.
• Unload and load trailers verifying proper product stacking and that product is not being mixed on pallets.
• Ensure that all customer product is accounted for, free of infestation, and within its temperature range prior to storage.
• Identify and recover damaged product and report shortages/overages to supervisor.
• Assist in physical inventories to ensure safekeeping of customer’s product.
• Prepare product for shipment and verify lot numbers for accuracy.
• Operate safety equipment and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Safety operate forklifts, clamp trucks, slip-sheets, and turret trucks as required.
