Job summary

Indiana Packers Corporation in Delphi, Indiana is seeking reliable personnel for our Shipping Department. You will sort boxes onto pallets, palletize, and load semitrucks using forklift equipment for distribution to customers.

This role requires standing in cold environments, operating in a fast-paced setting with overtime and weekend shifts, and maintaining safety standards with PPE. We offer training and opportunities in a growing food processing company.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Forklift certification preferred; training available if not certified.
• Experience with inventory control procedures preferred.
• Able to lift and push/pull 50-100 lbs; repetitive lifting up to 100 lbs.
• Must work in cold environments and stand on concrete floors for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Receive, sort and stock products into pallets; scan boxes and tag pallets.
• Move products from cold storage to semitrucks using forklift and pallet jack.
• Operate in a cold, wet environment with PPE and safety protocols.
• Identify safety risks and report incidents to Supervisor or Lead.
• Collaborate with team to maintain a positive work atmosphere and efficiency.
