Job summary

Pyramid Transport & Cold Storage in Cranston, RI is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to support high-volume outbound shipments in our cold storage facility. You will ensure accurate documentation, proper staging, and adherence to cold chain protocols to protect temperature-sensitive goods.

Responsibilities include processing BOLs and invoices, coordinating with carriers, using WMS to track inventory and print labels, and maintaining organized shipping records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years in shipping/logistics, preferably cold storage.
• Proficient with WMS and Google Workspace or MS Office.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify shipping docs (BOLs, packing lists, invoices).
• Coordinate with carriers for pickup and delivery schedules.
• Use WMS to track inventory and generate shipping labels.
• Communicate with warehouse, drivers, and customer service on scheduling and discrepancies.
• Maintain organized shipping records and ensure cold chain compliance.
