Job summary

Open Hand Atlanta Inc is seeking a Meal Plan Picker to participate in all aspects of food packaging, while complying with food safety, sanitation, and HACCP plans. Work in a 0-5 degree freezer and a 30-35 degree cooler, requiring extra clothing for comfort.

Responsibilities include setting up picking locations, accurate packing, labeling, and routing of meal boxes. Prior warehouse experience and ability to lift up to 30 pounds are helpful; reading small fonts accurately is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse setting is preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to read small text on labels and manifests.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setting up picking locations and ensure meal boxes are accurately picked and packed.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and HACCP guidelines.
• Read small font sizes quickly and accurately on meals and manifests.
• Ensure all completed meal boxes are labeled and routed correctly.
• Assist with cleaning and sanitizing of the work area.
• Return required paperwork to staff in a timely manner.
