Job summary

Americold is seeking a Warehouse Order Selector to assemble and pick cases for store orders in a freezer/cooler environment. You will use Talkman, RF scanners, and pallet jacks to prepare pallets for dispatch, while complying with safety standards and company procedures.

The role requires lifting 40–50 pounds, working 4 days on 3 days off, and adapting to varying schedules. Prior experience with warehouse equipment is advantageous, and safety is emphasized throughout.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience operating RF equipment and pallet jacks.
• Able to lift 40–50 pounds and work in freezer/cooler.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and load the voice template into the Talkman unit for a specific warehouse selecting location, ensure that all cases and pallets are properly identified with the correct store number, and perform count/exception on pick slot locations if quantities are less than those requested by the Talkman.
• Secure selected cases, conduct final pallet preparations by wrapping the loaded pallets and applying shipping labels, and move assembled pallets to the dock or staging area.
• Perform vehicle safety inspections, report unsafe conditions, and conform to health and safety standards.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly warehouse environment and perform other duties as needed.
