Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking an Inventory Clerk in Livonia, MI to ensure counts match physical inventory in a refrigerated warehouse environment. The role involves updating the WMS, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring proper product rotation while supporting audits and data entry.

You will work Tuesday to Saturday, 8:00am–4:30pm, with benefits including PTO, medical/dental/vision/life insurance and 401(k) with company match. Penske emphasizes safety, teamwork and accurate inventory control.

Qualifications

• Must follow work procedures and safety rules.
• Read, write, understand and speak English.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks independently with precise detail.
• Must use handheld computers / scanners.
• Must have knowledge of computers and ability to learn WMS and internal applications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure system count matches physical inventory.
• Resolve discrepancies at location and pallet level.
• Update WMS to match physical inventory.
• Accurately receive inventory and ensure receipt of inventory.
• Audit inbound receipts and induct items into inventory.
• Maintain proper rotation of product and analyze rotation issues.
• Document recalls and disposition actions.
• Assist in daily and weekly reports and training on procedures.
