Core-Mark in Springfield, OH is hiring a Forklift Operator to support our distribution operations. You will operate stand-up forklifts, move freight, and ensure safe, efficient handling of products in a multi-temperature warehouse. Walk-ins welcome; interview on the spot. Requires 6+ months of forklift and warehouse experience, HS diploma, and post-offer drug/background checks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• 6+ months of experience operating stand up forklifts.
• Able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift (10–35 lbs; up to 60–90 lbs).
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and other material handling equipment to move freight.
• Transport incoming freight to inventory from staging areas.
• Replenish pick slots with outgoing stock according to orders.
• Rotate stock and remove outdated inventory per policy.
• Disperse over-stocked items to available slots.
• Remove empty pallets and packaging.
• Inspect pallets for damage and complete vehicle inspections.
• Follow safety policies and report unsafe conditions.
• Complete paperwork and ensure accurate documentation.
