Job summary

PFG Customized Distribution in Elkton, MD is seeking a Warehouse Associate to move incoming freight from staging to freezer storage, using a forklift or pallet jack to place pallets and inspect items for damage. You will enter product data into the RF unit, replenish pick slots for the next day’s orders, and maintain a clean, safe work area following GMP and safety guidelines.

The role requires 6 months to 1 year of warehouse experience, the ability to lift up to 80 pounds, and comfort working

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 6 months to 1 year warehouse and/or distribution experience.
• Able to work scheduled, assigned times and overtime as required.
• Able to lift 10–30 pounds and up to 80 pounds occasionally.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass pre-employment drug test.
• Must have reach truck experience.

Responsibilities

• Move incoming freight from staging to freezer storage using forklift or pallet jack.
• Inspect items for damage and perform temperature and quality checks.
• Enter product data and location into RF unit.
• Replenish pick slots with outgoing stock for next day orders.
• Rotate dated stock to the front and remove obsolete inventory as needed.
• Perform general housekeeping and complete end-of-shift paperwork.
