Job summary

Americold is seeking a Forklift Operator in Burley, Idaho. The role requires operating sit-down/stand-up forklifts and RF scanners to receive, store, and ship food products. Work 2:30 pm–11:00 pm, with a requirement of forklift experience and a high school diploma or GED preferred.

You will load, unload, stock, and pick cases, ensure accuracy and safety, and support inventory and housekeeping tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three (3) months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using forklifts to move products to storage.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick/assemble orders, check freight for accuracy and damage, and label; wrap and pack as directed.
• Operate forklifts and RF scanners in a safety-conscious manner per OSHA standards.
• Meet production standards while maintaining a clean, orderly work environment.
• Perform inventory, cleaning, or forklift battery changes as needed.
